Congratulations to Andrew Dick, who has been awarded the 2004-2005 Litton Industries Graduate Fellowship in Engineering Education. Andrew is a Ph.D. student working with Professor Balachandran.

The award is available to full-time graduate students in the departments of electrical or mechanical doctor of philosophy degree, who intend on pursuing a career as a full-time engineering faculty member.

The fellowship consists of a supplemental stipend added to either a Graduate Teaching Assistantship or Graduate Research Assistantship award by the department. The award is for one year.
