The American Physical Society/Division of Fluid Dynamics Annual Meeting was held at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill Hotel in Washington, DC from November 19 - 21. The meeting website link is: www.enme.umd.edu/orgs/dfd2000/.
This meeting is the premier gathering of fluid dynamicists in the United States each year. This year 1100 scientists and engineers from numerous countries in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia attended. The meeting was hosted by the University of Maryland and organized by a committee made up mainly of faculty from the Mechanical Engineering Department:
