The University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering has been ranked in the Top 25 Best Engineering Programs with the Best Return on Investment by Best Value Schools. The Clark School is 18th on the list, with an average 30 year return on investment (ROI) of $934,800.

Best Value Schools cited the Clark School's great program variety and highly rated Aerospace Engineering program as its strongest selling points. The organization calls the University of Maryland “a great choice for those interested in a successful career in engineering.”

Best Value Schools compiles its rankings with data collected from U.S. News World and Report, and lists the top-ranked schools in order of their 30 year average ROI, according to Payscale.

Best Value Schools describes the purpose of its ranking as a chance to “highlight the top engineering schools that offer the greatest future earnings potential” and “help future engineering students make informed decisions about how to get the most for the time and money they invest in their education.”

The Clark School was ranked alongside several engineering programs at Ivy League institutions, including Harvard, Princeton, and Columbia.
