Jenna Dolan

Jenna Dolan, the Clark School's director for undergraduate advising and academic support, has been honored for her efforts in undergraduate advising with the 2010-2011 Provost's Professional Academic Advisor of the Year Award.

Each year the provost presents three awards for excellence in academic advising, one each to faculty, staff and a graduate student. The award is announced in the spring and presented to recipients at the Annual Undergraduate Studies Advising conference, which this year is scheduled for August 16, 2011.

Dolan was selected from a competitive pool of candidates and was nominated for the award by Clark School students and staff. Her nomination letters lauded her commitment, enthusiasm and leadership, noting that she gives generously of her time and expresses genuine interest and excitement in both students' and other advisors' successes.

Clark School Chair of Fire Protection Engineering Jim Milke also was honored this year, with the 2010-2011 Provost's Faculty Advisor of the Year Award.
