2011 Terps Racing Formula SAE Team

 

The Clark School's Terps Racing Formula SAE team had a very successful showing by finishing in fourth place at the national 2011 Formula SAECalifornia competition held June 15-18, 2011 in Fontana California. The team is advised by Greg Schultz, adjunct associate ME professor. Additional scores for Terps Racing include:

  • Endurance Race: 2nd
  • Dynamic Events Overall (autocross, skidpad, acceleration and endurance): 2nd
  • Autocross: 3rd
  • Skidpad: 4th

"This showing was the result of a lot of hard work and dedication from Ben Brooke and his team," said Schultz. "I am proud they hung in there and stuck it out." Sixty teams competed overall.
