In the 2011 U.S. News & World Report rankings of engineering graduate schools, the Clark School placed #22 among all schools and #10 among public engineering programs.

Clark School departments, among all departments of the same type, ranked as follows:

  • Bioengineering: 35
  • Chemical: 41
  • Civil: 27
  • Computer: (no ranking of these departments by U.S. News this year)
  • Electrical: 14
  • Materials: 31
  • Mechanical: 21
