DeVoe, Liu and Yang presented a poster describing the development of microfluidic technology for multidimensional protein and peptide separations capable of delivering analyses 100 times faster than existing methods.
?This project is currently funded by NIH through a $1.2 million bioengineering research partnering grant. We?re entering the fourth year of that grant right now,? DeVoe said. ?The goal is to develop novel microfluidic technology for biomolecular analysis.?
The HPLC conference is committed to liquid phase separation science and is the largest gathering of its kind in the world. This year?s event took place in Baltimore from May 10-16.
