Minority engineering students and alumni were recognized at The 25th Annual Student Recognition & Alumni Banquet on April 28. The banquet was presented by The Center for Minorities in Science and Engineering, The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SMSE), and The Black Engineers Society (BES).

Awards for academic achievement and outstanding contributions of Mechanical Engineering students included the following students:

Eminent Scholars (4.0 overall*/4.0 semester): Brittany Blueitt*, Daniel Chenet*, Juan Cevallos, Belem Melchor, Robin Zimmermann, and Robert Aikins.
