Several Mechanical Engineering Department undergrad students received recognition at the 2004 Engineering Honors and Awards Ceremony on April 14.

Department awards for academic achievement and outstanding contributions included the following:

American Society of Mechanical Engineers? Senior Award: Jonathan Shumake

Pi Tau Sigma Outstanding Service Award: Mike Liszka

Pi Tau Sigma Memorial Award: Raleigh Stewart (3.77 GPA)

Pi Tau Sigma Outstanding Sophomore Award: Brittany Blueitt & Derrick Treichler (4.0 GPA)

Department of Mechanical Engineering Academic Achievement Award: Jessica Galie (3.915 GPA)

Department of Mechanical Engineering Chairman?s Award: Aaron Johnson (3.934 GPA, Magna Cum Laude)

Within the School of Engineering, several ME Students were also recognized:

The American Nuclear Society Student Chapter Award, presented to the senior in the Nuclear Engineering Program in recognition of demonstrated leadership and contributions to the student chapter: Craig Douglas Gerardi.

The Engineering Cooperative Education Award, presented to a student who has demonstrated scholastic excellence, exceptional work performance, and outstanding potential for a successful engineering career while participating in the co-op program: Ryan E. Schoonmaker.

The Clark School of Engineering Kim A. Borsavage and Pamela J. Stone Student Award for Outstanding Service and dedication to the college: Selin Mariadhas.
