At the Clark School of Engineering Commencement Exercises on May 23, Mechanical Engineering Professors David Bigio and David Holloway were honored for their outstanding teaching and service to the Clark School of Engineering.

Associate Professor David Bigio was given the Poole & Kent Outstanding Teaching Award. This award is given to a senior faculty member for excellence in teaching. Dr. Bigio is recognized as an enthusiastic teacher a leader in engineering curriculum development, and assisting his peers in developing their teaching skills and abilities.

Professor David Holloway was given the Clark School Faculty Service Award. Dr. Holloway was recognized as an excellent teacher and mentor, for organizing nationally competitive automotive project design courses, and participation in advising student groups, recruitment activities, and outreach activities.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers their heartiest congratulations.
