In a ceremony on April 11 in London, Satyandra K. Gupta was given the Literati Club's Highly Commended Award, sponsord by Emerald.

Emerald, a trading name of MCB UP Ltd, publishes the world's widest range of management and library & information services journals. Their portfolio is made up of over 100 leading management and library and information services titles with a strong specialist range of engineering, applied science and technology journals.

Emerald has always promoted the highest standards in its journals, and the annual Awards for Excellence were designed both to acknowledge the high quality of writing and editing in Emerald journals and to strengthen the links between Emerald, its authors and editors. The 10 years since the first full Awards ceremony has seen this event become a significant and popular addition to the scholarly publishing calendar.
