Meet Gabrielle Ball, a mechanical engineering major and Clark Opportunity Transfer Scholar at the University of Maryland's A. James Clark School of Engineering.

The Clark Opportunity Transfer Scholarship Program, an initiative of the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation, supports the transfer student population by providing students who excel at community colleges within the state of Maryland with a generous scholarship to attend its public flagship school. The program is supported by Building Together: An Investment for Maryland, the Foundation's $219.5 million investment in the University of Maryland announced in October 2017.
