A Crash Course in Rocket Surgery
There is a lot to learn in order to become a professional software developer. Alas, you will not learn all of it through the course of your studies. Fear not, for someone will rant and rave about the things s/he wishes someone taught in college. Join us for a fantabulous adventure through common issues and workplace headaches you will encounter in the real world.
Possible subjects:
- Unicode and internationalization
- Disasters and duct tape
- Talking to the rubber ducky
- Fools, jerks, and other non-flattering terms that will be your coworkers.
- Working with other programmers
Tests (not the pop-quiz kind).
We are also hiring so bring your resume!
This Event is For: All Students
