Every year, middle-school kids throughout Maryland compete in the FIRST Lego League robotics challenge. Did you know that you can help support this valuable STEM program just by building Legos?
FIRST Lego League (FLL) Challenge in Maryland is looking for volunteers to assist in building Lego missions used in FLL Challenge qualifiers all over the state of Maryland. With your help, thousands of Lego pieces will turn into models used by kids in this year's SUBMERGED Challenge. Your efforts will help kids 9 to 14 learn and think about technology to explore the layers of the ocean and innovate for a better future with healthy oceans. how technology is employed in entertainment and the arts, and will support FLL Maryland, which is an entirely volunteer-run organization.
Join us on Thursday November 21 from 4pm- 6pm in the Leidos Innovation Lab (AJC 1114-1122). Please RSVP HERE.
