How can you show potential employers that you have excellent written communication skills? How do you convey your enthusiasm for the job and the organization?
In this workshop, we discuss how to write a cover letter that will get the attention of the employer. We'll practice writing an email to request information from a potential employer. We will also discuss if, how, and when to send follow-up correspondence after submitting an application.
Bring a pen and, if possible, a printed job description for a position that interests you.
